DPR work begins for 404MW Nyera Amari Hydropower Project

Bhutan aims to generate around 25,000MW of hydropower capacity by 2040. The country is currently generating about 3,600MW, while projects with a combined capacity of 1,724MW are under construction and are expected to be completed by 2028.
