Bhutanese diaspora travels home, carrying offerings for 108 stupas

Before dawn on Sunday, the banks of the Mau River were already alive with volunteers. By noon, 108 stupas stood where there had been none, each 15 metres tall, together stretching along 12 kilometres of the river.
