Three auspicious occasions, one day: Bhutan raises 108 chortens

Tomorrow, November 1, three auspicious occasions will converge in Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC). The raising of 108 Jangchub Chortens will coincide with Lord Buddha’s Descending Day, also observed in Bhutan as Mothers’ Day, and the 18th Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty The King.
