Court convicts unlicensed excavator operator for three years over deaths of mother and daughter

The Phuentsholing Drungkhag Court on October 20 sentenced unlicensed excavator operator Sonam Gyeltshen to three years in prison on two counts of negligent homicide over the deaths of a 32-year-old mother and her three-year-old daughter in Phuentsholing in 2024.
