Thai designer transforms Bhutanese textiles into contemporary fashion

Seventeen models circled four women weaving maroon, flower-patterned kira at the centre of the runway, bringing Bhutanese textile traditions and contemporary fashion together at Bhutan in Motion, the first fashion show by Thai designer Fah Chakshuvej, in Thimphu.
