Nu 26M lost to scammers in six months

On December 21 last year, Tshering Phuntsho, a private-sector employee, received a WhatsApp link from one of his relatives. The message claimed that opening the link would take him to a WhatsApp group offering an opportunity to earn money from home through online work.
