Election Commission to vet campaign pledges in LG and NC elections

The Election Commission of Bhutan (ECB) will now evaluate campaign pledges made by candidates contesting Local Government (LG) and National Council (NC) elections under amendments to the Rules on Election Conduct in the Kingdom of Bhutan, 2022, extending a practice previously applied only to political parties.
